http://www.currentspace.com/ EMERGENCE brings together a diverse group of artists whose work force us to reconsider our positions and impressions of the Middle East. The work presented in this exhibition addresses issues that range from overt political statements to introspective reflections of personal identity, offering unique and engaging expression in the following mediums: video, performance, drawings, photography, sculpture and painting. Exhibiting artist include: Yasmine Etemadi, Roya Farassat, Tulu Bayar, Yasemin Kackar-Demirel, Matthew Egan, Hadi Gharabaghi, Suzanne Kanatsiz, Aphrodite Desiree Navab, Sara Rahbar, and Asma Ahmed Shikoh. ------------------------ Solo Exhibition - "Liberated"
